Who built Destiny Compass?
Destiny Compass was created by Julian, a spiritual teacher and energy practitioner based in the UK with over 20 years of experience guiding people through self-discovery and personal transformation. Julian is the founder of Light and Harmony, a spiritual teaching practice focused on making profound inner wisdom accessible in practical, everyday language.
With more than 85,000 students on Insight Timer — one of the world's largest meditation platforms — Julian has spent two decades helping people understand the energetic patterns shaping their lives. His approach has always been the same: take complex spiritual systems and translate them into language anyone can understand and immediately apply.
When Julian encountered the Matrix of Destiny — a numerology system developed by Russian teachers Natalia Ladini and Anastasia Gollov — he recognised it as the most precise and practically useful self-discovery tool he had ever worked with. There was one problem: virtually no quality English-language resources existed for it. The system lived almost entirely in Russian, inaccessible to the English-speaking world.

The Matrix of Destiny system
The Matrix of Destiny is a numerology system developed in the early 2000s by Russian teachers Natalia Ladini and Anastasia Gollov. It uses a person's full date of birth to calculate a unique energy map across 22 universal archetypes — drawn from the symbolism of the Major Arcana — and plots them onto an octagram (eight-pointed star) diagram.
Unlike Western numerology, which typically works with a small number of "life path" calculations, the Matrix of Destiny produces a rich, multi-dimensional chart with 13 key energy positions and 10 distinct life zones. Each zone addresses a specific dimension of life: core identity, social persona, karmic patterns, love energy, financial energy, life purpose, chakra health, generational timeline, and ancestral inheritance.
The system became widely popular in Russian-speaking communities between 2010 and 2020. Destiny Compass brings it to English speakers for the first time with the same depth and precision as the original methodology.
